Beef Burgandy



1-2 lbs. beef (boneless roast) cubed 1 1/2″

1 c. red/Burgandy wine

2 TBSP onions, minced

1 TBSP ketchup

1 tsp beef bullion granules (1 cube beef granules)

1/4 tsp dried thyme

1/8 tsp pepper

1 bay leaf

1 can mushrooms (or 1 container fresh mushrooms)

1/4c. Cold water

2 TBSP flour

(serve over bow tie pasta)


Brown beef

mix all ingredients (except water and flour) in a crockpot

Add beef and simmer in slow cooker until beef is tender (about 6 hours on high)

Add water and flour to thicken before serving and cook about 1/2 hr. before serving

Serve over bow tie pasta
